JAMES ROBERT PARISH
Parish was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a
member of the New York Bar. He has authored 85 major books on the entertainment industry and is a frequent contributor to
the arts section of many major national newspapers and entertainment trade papers. He is also series editor for many
publishers on performing arts books. A former reporter for Variety and Motion Picture Daily, he is an entertainment
publicist and also the founder of both Entertainment Copyright Research Company, Inc. and JRP Media, Inc. He is an active
member of many entertainment, publishing, marketing and indexing organizations. Parish currently resides in Studio City,
California.
