JULIE MCDONALD
Julie McDonald, co-owner of McDonald/Selznick Associates, began her career as a dancer and has spent the last fifteen years
creating and building the first talent agency devoted specifically to the representation of dancers, choreographers and
director/choreographers. During her tenure as an agent, she has played an instrumental role in securing better terms and
working conditions for dancers and continues to fight for the rights of choreographers. Her dedication to elevating the
art of choreography led to pioneering the idea of union affiliation for choreographers in Hollywood. McDonald/Selznick
Associates opened its doors in the Fall of 2000 and continues to represent the top choreographers and director/
choreographers in the entertainment industry for feature films, commercials, television, stage, music videos and tours.
She is a founding Executive Producer of the American Choreography Awards.
