HOW YOU CAN HELP
There are three ways you can help The Academy of Dance on Film further its goals:
- Donate your work to our collection.
Ensure your work is remembered by donating photos, film clips, and other memorabilia to the Academy.
Your work will be archived, preserved, and studied by future dancers and choreographers for generations to come.
- Donate Funds to support Operations.
As a non-profit operation, the Academy is funded solely through donations and grants. We are constantly
in need of funds to support us in carrying out our mission. Your donation is tax-deductible, and will
enable us to continue to offer our valuable resources to the public and promote the art of dance through
our outreach and education programs. Using the links below, you can donate directly using PayPal, or indirectly
by shopping at iGive.com or giveline.com, where a percentage of every purchase will benefit the Academy of Dance on Film.
Volunteer Your Time.
We can use volunteers to assist us with cataloguing our new acquisitions, filing, and special events, and
to participate as instructors for our education programs.
If you are interested in supporting The Academy of Dance on Film, or just wish to learn more about what we do,
please
print and fill out this form, and return it to us. We look forward to hearing from you.
DOF is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization based in Hollywood, California. Its operation
is partially funded by a generous grant from the Henry W. Bull Foundation, on behalf of
Ava Astaire McKenzie, and donations from organizations and individuals.
Last year's joint fundraising effort for the Academy of Dance on Film and the
American
Choreography Awards was a great success due to donations from dance supporters from around the country and the
world. Without their assistance, DOF would have closed its doors long ago, and we thank them from the bottom of
our high-kicking hearts.
